Using RSS Widgets

The built-in RSS Widget can be used to add feeds to your sidebar. The Widget Plugin allows you to specify how many RSS widgets you need. Once you have specified the number of RSS widgets you need, each of those widgets is added to the "Available Widgets" column in the Presentation, Sidebar Widget Administration Panel.

Clicking on the icon on the right side of the widget allows you to enter the URL for the feed, a description of the feed, and how many items from the feed you want displayed.

Here's a sample of RSS feeds you can use in your widgets.

Helemaal een WYSIWYG-editor, zij het zeer beperkt in de opmaak-keuze’s.

Byzonder jammer dat deze editor geen WYSIWYG-editor is. Het laat de code zien. Wel een Preview-mode.
text editing terwijl HTML-code gewoon zichtbaar is in de interface van wBlogger.
Behoorlijk verwarrend voor beginnende gebruikers.

Prima template design, maar WordPress staat niet toe dat Templates gewijzigd worden.
Uit de aangeboden Templates van WordPress kan men kiezen. Elk van de templates heeft verschillende mogelijkheden wat en hoe de template de inhoud weergeeft. De template zelf mag gebruiken dus NIET zelf wijzigen. (dit i.t.t. Blogger)

Ik heb de standaard template van dit tooltje wBlogger in het Times New Roman, 10.ptn font gezet.

Handige spellingcontrole in Eng. & NL. Nou ja, echt hándige suggesties in spelling hou ik niet van.

Handig de eenmaal geposte berichten weer te her-editten.

Biezonder handig als men meerdere weblogs wil beheren.

Biezonder snelle start vanuit systeem-balk, dus gemakkelijk posten.

Kan ook texten Off-line aanmaken en saven.

Ha, dus als ik een stuk text in MS-Word opmaak, wordt het font-opmaak automatisch mee-gekopiëerd naar wBlogger's editor.
Alleen de links moet men dan nog koppelen. Laten verwijzen naar een opgeladen file.

Inline Text-link naar sound-file hier text loopt verder.

Insert Image via de editor een lookup naar eigen HD hier en text loopt weer verder.
maar wordt in de editor niet weergegeven, dan behalve de URL naar het plaatje.

Handig is de Upload-file button. Na FTP-instellingen kan men files oploaden naar één hostingsprovider. Eéntje maar.
